Huntsman's climate position too hot for legislature

Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman was issued a stern warning from his state's legislature today. The House passed a resolution (51-19) urging the governor to withdraw from the Western Climate Initiative.

The Salt Lake Tribune:

.... the nonbinding measure would send a message to Utah's chief executive that he overstepped his bounds by participating in energy policy that could affect the economic viability of many of the state's businesses.

You think a nonbinding measure's going to get Jon Huntsman 2.0's attention? I've got an American economy to sell you.

Currently, seven states participate in the initiative. For more information, click here.

NSF, as you might guess considering the source.
