The State Budget Committee today voted 3-2 along partisan lines for Gov. Mitch Daniels' proposed $28.3 billion, two-year budget.
While a formality, the vote -- in which two Democrat lawmakers voted no and two Republican lawmakers joined State Budget Director Christ Ruhl in voting yes -- signaled problems ahead in hammering out a budget.
