Rasmussen Reports, released today:
Forty-four percent (44%) of voters say it’s at least somewhat likely the next president will be a Republican while 38% say it’s not likely.
Seventy-one percent (71%) of Republicans say the next president is likely to be from their party. Of that group, 39% say it’s very likely. Only 23% of Democrats see that outcome as likely, with just seven percent (7%) regarding it as very likely. Forty-one percent (41%) of unaffiliated voters think a Republican is likely to be the next resident of the White House, including 22% who say it is very likely.
Okay, but the polling question is important:
"How likely is it that the next President after Barack Obama will be a Republican?"
What about giving us a year? Unnamed Democrat in 2016 will be easier to beat than Obama in 2012.
