Romney endorsing Bob Bennett

Whew, says the Bennett camp.

Tomorrow, Mitt Romney will endorse Utah Sen. Robert Bennett and appear with him at campaign events.

Bennett had been sweating just a bit over a potential primary challenge from Attorney General Mark Shurtleff, who chose John McCain over Mitt in 2008.

Eric Fehrnstrom, Mitt Romney's spokesman:

"Gov. Romney is very active on behalf of the Republican Party, organizations and individual candidates as we head into the critical 2010 cycle, and he's particularly excited about supporting Sen. Bennett for re-election."
