Jindal: Obama's making Hillary's mistake

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal does a bang-up job on health care in his new op-ed for the Wall Street Journal.

First, he confronts three alleged myths of the Obama plan.

1) That the public option is just one of many options 2) That it will maintain health care's high quality and 3) That the American wallet will stay just as full.

He then presents seven alternatives.

1. Aligned consumer interests

2. Medical lawsuit reform

3. Insurance reform

4. Small business pooling

5. Pay for performance, not activity

6. Refundable tax credits for low income Americans

7. Consumer choice guided by transparency.

Jindal's a much better read than watch. If electromagnetic waves ever become extinct, he'll be a stronger national candidate.
